Restoring Hope in Our Community

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating global impact and from the onset Jesus House, NJ saw an opportunity to meet the needs of families in our community (internal and external). We took ownership by serving others, exhibiting the love of God, and truly making a difference in the lives of our church members and our external community. Please watch this very inspiring video to see how JHNJ, through meaningful partnerships, and with the faithful support of the membership and ministries has made a difference. Click here to watch the video

A Message of Hope…

Dear JHNJ Family & Friends,

This past week has been extremely difficult for me; it’s been quite painful to process the recent events that have led to the various riots across the nation and the world at large. It’s also been difficult to find the right words to say to express the pain we all feel. Nevertheless, silence is no better…

The death of George Floyd is heartbreaking and deeply troubling. I have reflected on the circumstances that led to his death and it is completely appalling. This deplorable act which has led to several protests across the nation and around the globe is a demonstration that such acts of inequality and brutality are completely unacceptable.

As a church we have already begun to address this atrocious act of injustice; we have been praying throughout this week during our corporate live prayers calling on the Lord to heal our land. We are praying for God’s divine intervention in this situation, as well as for Him to intervene in many such acts of injustice that seem to prevail in our nation. We know that ultimately God alone can heal our land.

Restoring Hope in COVID-19

Dear JHNJ Family & Friends,

How are you?

We miss seeing you in Church!

I want you to know that I am praying for your safety and well-being during this global crisis. May the Lord continue to watch over you and your families.
I will also like to keep you informed about our plans as a Church in light of the recent announcement by Governor Larry Hogan about lifting the statewide stay-at-home order.

We are being mindful of the health and safety of our Church family, guests, and community at large at this time and we will continue to monitor events as relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many restrictions remain in place in the various counties, therefore we plan to continue to hold our services online over the next couple of weeks. We will keep everyone informed about when we plan to reopen the Church building for our weekly services. Please continue to check our website and your emails for updates.

Please continue to engage with us online at 10 am for our “Joint Online Service” and at 12:30 pm for the“Ignite Online Service”. Also, we will continue to hold online corporate prayer sessions throughout the week at 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Please note that we have engaging online programs for our children and youth, so please visit our homepage for more information. You can also check the JHNJ App for updates.
Our building may be closed, but the Church remains open…Our staff team is available to support you, so please reach out if you have any need for assistance. Also, continue to check up on other members of the Church and stay connected with the members of the small groups you may belong to.

Please keep the prayers going and remember, God is our Refuge! Psalm 91:1-2

God bless you,
